³ Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, thus says Adonai: ‘I have anointed you king over Israel.’ Then open the door and flee—don’t wait around.”

⁴ So the young man, a young prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead. ⁵ Now when he arrived, behold, the army commanders were sitting. So he said, “I have a word for you, commander.”

Jehu asked, “For which one of us?”

He replied, “For you, commander.”
